NOJAX® Cellulose Casings

Regenerated cellulose designed for high speed, automated production of hot dogs, dry mini salamis and cooked sausage.

Self-colouring available in Dark Cherry and Light Orange to impart food grade colour to the surface of the stuffed product.

Available in non-transferable blue and Wedzone (smoke) colours or with stripes for colour differentiation as well as visual check of complete peeling.

Available with value-added treatments:
- Regular without peeling treatment
- E-Z Peel ® contains peeling treatment to ensure perfect casing removal

Casings are pre-humidified and shirred into a variety of casing lengths to optimise productivity.

LARGE CELLULOSE Casings (LCC)

LCC provide a cylindrical or oval shape to processed meat products such as bologna and salami.

  • Permeable to smoke and water vapour
  • Barrier to microorganisms
  • Stuffing diameters 36-250mm
  • Available in standard colour range
  • Exceptional clarity and glossy surface giving an attractive and shiny appearance to finished products.
  • Various degrees of stretch: casings adapt to finished product shape requirements

Available with value-added treatments:
- E-Z Peel ® contains peeling treatment to ensure perfect casing removal
- DS/SL and innter surface treatment designed to promote adhesion to proteins

Casings are available shirred, cut/clipped or rolls requiring soaking prior to use.  Also available pre-moisurised, shirred.
